In an attempt to develop a balance between newly elected Delegates and Delegates with CCPE Board experience, we will be holding elections for Regional Delegate positions in 5 regions.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1728322352796{padding-right: 25% !important;padding-left: 25% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Elections to be held in:<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"thim-list-content\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>British Columbia<\/li>\n<li>Prairies (AB, SK, MB)<\/li>\n<li>Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Quebec<\/li>\n<li>Atlantic (NB, NS, PE, NL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The representative(s) with the most votes in each region will be nominated for election by the member companies at the AGM to be held in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1668177003848{padding-top: 1% !important;padding-right: 8% !important;padding-left: 8% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>The Role and Responsibilities of Regional Delegates<\/h5>\n<p>Regional Delegates are a vital link between the CCPE Board of Directors and the Pharmaceutical community within their respective regions. Regional Delegates are advisors on issues related to CCPE mandates, namely course orientation and relevance, exam process, professional development, marketing and image. Both in the field and within their organizations, Delegates promote the value of CCPE to all stakeholders. At the Board level they provide input, act as a sounding board, actively debate and influence decisions critical to the operation of the organization.<\/p>\n<p>All delegates will sit on the CCPE board of directors for a period of two years. The workload is less than 4 days a year which includes up to 4 Board meetings (video conference and\/or in-person), meeting preparation and any post meeting review of meeting minutes, strategic planning and governance information. Meetings are held on a Tuesday once a quarter and start no earlier than 10 AM and finish no later than 4:30 PM to accommodate travel. Travel and accommodation to the meetings which you attend in-person are paid by CCPE.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner equal_height=&#8221;yes&#8221; gap=&#8221;1&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1539614301800{padding-top: 30px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1668177131547{padding-left: 20% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>To run for election you must:<\/h5>\n<ul class=\"thim-list-content\">\n<li>Be a field based CCPE accredited professional and work for a member company.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccpe-cfpc.org\/en\/ccpe-membership#jump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">List of Member Companies<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Complete the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccpe-cfpc.org\/en\/candidacy-form\/\">CANDIDACY FORM<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Write a biographical sketch (900 characters maximum).<\/li>\n<li>Indicate why you wish to sit on the Board of Directors (max 450 characters) and,<\/li>\n<li>Provide a photo (optional) for posting on the Gallery of Candidates web page (you can send your photo by e-mail to <strong><a href=\"mailto:webmaster@ccpe-cfpc.org\">Elections<\/a><\/strong>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1730829522249{padding-right: 20% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>To vote you must:<\/h5>\n<ul class=\"thim-list-content\">\n<li>Be a CCPE accredited professional working for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccpe-cfpc.org\/en\/ccpe-membership#jump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">member company<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Access the CCPE website starting on <strong>November 21, 2024<\/strong> and vote online for the candidate of your choice.<\/li>\n<li>Vote only for a candidate representing the geography in which the majority of your territory lies (either by geography or revenues)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1668178757588{background-color: #eeee22 !important;}&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">The deadline to submit your candidacy is Midnight<br \/>\n<u>Sunday November 17<\/u>, 2024<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1539613842103{padding-right: 8% !important;padding-left: 8% !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5>Election Results:<\/h5>\n<p>All ballots will be tabulated at the CCPE office.
